Chef Curet knew he wanted to be a chef at a young age, working in his aunts bakery, to restaurants multiple at a young age. Food was always his passion, I decide to do the different route and went to the CIA in Hyde Park New York, graduating in 2011 with a Associate Degree in Culinary Arts.

After working in different parts of the USA I moved to Austin in 2016. I knew Austin is where I wanted to stay. During the pandemic I was furloughed from my corporate chef job, and thats when my passion for working for myself and with pizza came about. I figure if not now when, I built my first trailer with no experience, with the help of our community it grew at a rate I had no idea it would! Side Eye Pie has now two pizza trailers one located at Meanwhile Brewery making wood fired pizza and the other at Radio East making more a New York style pizza. We pride our selves in using 100% Barton Springs mill and as much of the local ingredients as possilbe.
