Robert Nantz
Robert Nantz is a large-scale regenerative rancher with a mission to change the industry and heal our lands. He was born and raised in a ranching family and community. He started out conventional and stayed that way until 2023. In 2023 he changed his management style to regenerative and hasn’t looked back. It turned a lot of heads when he merged his fall and spring herd of mother cows into one large Mega-Herd which has grown up to 1,700 mother cows. This Mega-Herd, as he likes to call it, is now the main tool he uses to give his land the herd impact it needs, create soil armor, increase biodiversity, fertilize the pastures, and regenerate the soils.
The biodiversity in plants that are emerging are providing a diverse diet for the cattle. This diet provides a variety of phytonutrients to the cow, which we receive when we eat the regeneratively raised and grazed beef. Regeneratively raised and grazed beef is found to be more nutrient dense than commodity beef.
Robert is passionate about healing our lands, regenerating the soils, restoring grassland ecosystems, letting cows be cows in herds grazing these grasslands, and nourishing ourselves with the nutrient dense beef harvested from this virtuous cycle.
