Located in Elgin TX, Hot Spell Farm is a worker operated farm that is people and Earth first. It was started by and current operated under Mo Ryan, Anamaria Rosenlieb, Elise Stumpf, and Hayley Wood. We are making a collective commitment to sustain joy and community through shared land and vegetables. Our core tenants are: have fun, be hot, grow good food.

Hot Spell came to inception with the hopes of breaking patterns of individualism and profit-driven burnout. There are limited, if not nonexistent models for collaborative models we’d like to build and see in our farmer community. Our work-centered operation is an experiment and a hopeful step in creating a new model for how a farm can exist.
