Abby Love opened Abby Jane Bakeshop in the winter of 2021.
In her namesake bakery, she and her team create breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, sandwiches, pizzas and more out of the freshly stone-milled flours from next door neighbor Barton Springs Mill. Abby caught the local-food bug while working for years as the Pastry Chef at Dai Due Butcher Shop & Supper Club.
Her favorite thing to make is sourdough; her favorite thing to eat is warm cookies; and her favorite part of her job is laughing with her team.
